They appear to be well made and for a very good price. My feet stay dry slogging through wet grass/puddles and don't get sweaty after hours in the heat. They're very comfortable, even when standing on a ladder. Much quicker and easier to get on than lace-up boots. The snug fit keeps out grass/dirt and is reassuring when walking over uneven terrain. The shallow grooves on the soles don't pick up mud and debris but are still quite slip resistant. They've not left any marks on the floors. I'll recommend these to my friends.

Slippery after use, November 26, 2010 This review is from: Georgia Boot Men's Georgia Giant Casual Work Boot (Apparel) Bought these and wore them for about a month. After the sole has been worn down they become very slippery whether dry or wet. I took a knife and siped them and that helps. But I highly recommend getting the one with the heel.
Good Boots, July 29, 2012 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Georgia Boot Men's Georgia Giant Casual Work Boot (Apparel) These boots are good I am an HVAC technician, I do alot of kneeling and ladder climbing. They have lasted about one year, and now the stitches just after the toe joint are all broken so I need a new pair. I think the only way to avoid this failure is to avoid bending the toe joints when kneeling so it does not create too much stress. The one really bad thing is the traction is very unsafe on smooth concrete and tile when wet do to there being no water displacing traction. If I get another pair I will do what another reviewer said and cut deeper recesses to avoid hydropaning on watered smooth surface. Or maybe they have another model with deeper recesses. They are comfortable and seem to stay dry as far as sweating is concerned.
