best boots i have ever owned, July 12, 2012 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Timberland PRO Men's Magnus 6" Safety Toe Work Boot (Apparel) these boots perform admirably in the aircraft hanger i work in, they stay stuck to the floor even in sky-draul, engine oil, jet fuel..... they work equally well in mud and snow. ice is a bit touch and go. some waterproofing goo and your feet will be dry and comfortable all day, or in my case night long. only gripe is that they squeak on tile, concrete and hardwood, and its loud. but i can live with that.

These were a fairly recent purchase, so I can't speak much for their longevity but the craftsmanship seems exceptional considering the price.
